May 4 Salvation Army meal

The first Sunday of each month we prepare and serve a dinner for about 20-25 people at the Salvation Army in West Chester.

The family or families that sign up purchase the food, prepare the meal, take it to the Salvation Army center and serve the meal.

The Center has a small kitchen, but usually we prepare the meal at home and use their kitchen to re-heat it, if needed.

On Monday, January 20, millions throughout the nation will come together to volunteer and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, who never stopped asking the question, "what are you doing for others?"

If you have the day off and are available, Jacquie can use our help with the "extreme youth makeover" project.  She has many jobs that still need to be done to make this makeover a reality for our youth.

If you are available and would like to join us, please e-mail me or call me.
