Laity Sunday: Stand Up & Speak Out

On October 25, we celebrated Laity Sunday at Paoli United Methodist Church, recognizing the gifts, leadership, and ministry of the people who make up our congregation.

Through personal reflections and testimonies shared by members of our congregation, we heard how God continues to work through ordinary people to bring hope, compassion, and transformation to our communities.

Laity Sunday reminds us that the ministry of the church belongs to all of us. We are not simply called to attend church but to be the church—using our voices, gifts, and everyday lives to share God's love with the world.

We celebrate the many ways God is already at work among us and renew our calling to stand up, speak out, and serve with courage and love.
